"Bought these to replace a 20+ year old pair of Tweezermans that finally gave out on me. If I’d ordered these from Amazon, I’d think that they were counterfeit. When I first picked them up, I was shocked at how flimsy they felt. I assumed it was some new technology that made them lighter but just as effective. Nope. Just cheap. My old pair could grip a hair that had barely broken the surface and pluck it with barely a thought. These pairs (and yes, all three) take 2-4 plucking attempts before you can actually get a grip on a full sized hair. Since they’re so thin, they sometimes act like a razor and tear skin instead of pluck hair. I’ve been recommending Tweezerman to people for two decades, I’m so embarrassed."
