This month, Tweezerman employees had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at North Shore Animal League America (NSAL) in Port Washington, Long Island — just minutes from our headquarters! This special event was made possible through our ongoing partnership with NSAL, giving our team the chance to directly support the organization’s mission to rescue, nurture, and find loving homes for animals in need.
The day began with a safety orientation and a guided tour of the impressive NSAL facilities. Volunteers were then divided into two groups to participate in hands-on activities with both dogs and cats (and plenty of kittens!) at the adoption center. Throughout the day, the groups rotated between areas, helping to clean enclosures, refresh water bowls, and, most importantly, spend quality time socializing with the animals — providing comfort, play, and affection to help them thrive.
The experience was deeply meaningful for everyone involved, offering our employees a chance to give back to the local community and support an organization that tirelessly works to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals.
At Tweezerman, our love for animals runs deep — which made partnering with North Shore Animal League a natural fit, especially following the launch of our Pet Collection in 2024. We were thrilled to volunteer at their facility and are already planning additional volunteer days to continue supporting their important work.
We hope our experience inspires others to get involved with North Shore Animal League America or with any local animal rescue organization that could use an extra helping hand.
