Love comes in many shapes and forms, spoken and unspoken. It could be the wagging of their tail every time you walk through the door, a gentle nuzzle on a quiet morning while you sip on your coffee or the way they seem to understand your every gesture. We’re talking about our fur babies, and their unconditional love for us.
They’ve been with us through everything - failures, successes, heartbreaks, and good times – always content with just being in our presence. That’s their way of showing us their love. So, this month we asked our employees how they say “I love you” back to their pets. Their responses are heartfelt, honest, and touching.
Here’s what they said:
Olesya Hamitouche, Associate Manager of Social Media:
"I say “I love you” to my cats by giving them little massages. Either it’s with Tweezerman Pet Coated Tip Slicker Brush which they both adore or by massaging under their chins and bellies with my hands - my cats love the attention and purr with appreciation is response."
Brandon Starr, Senior Web & Email Designer:
"The ways that I say ‘I love you’ to my cat Parsnip are petting him until he purrs loudly, brushing him, and giving him his favorite treat!"
Jessica Winters, Director of Online Retail & Web:
"My dogs act like little children in a good way and always require a good night kiss on the head when they go to bed. It’s become a nightly routine where they legitimately wait for it after they go out to be able to fall asleep. It’s just a way to say, “I love you both” and “see you in the morning” to them but you can tell how much they love it every night."
All of these moments, big and small, are what makes life with our pets so special. This Valentine’s Day, let’s cherish them. Go on that extra walk even if it's too cold, take the time to groom them, or simply, just be present and full of affection. From all of us at Tweezerman, here’s to celebrating the truest and purest love of all!
