"First off, I love the IDEA of this. And it does work on my lower lashes. But, I MUST put my makeup on with only one hand while using a hand mirror, I don't have a wall mirror that has decent lighting, there is no other way in my house to apply my makeup. This tool seems like it was designed to use with BOTH hands while applying mascara to the upper eyelashes. I could not get my hands in the right position where this would actually work for me personally. Therefore, I was unable to utilize this tool the way that it is intended to be used, so I can't say whether the tool itself is good or bad; just that I cannot use it with one hand. My personal observations/ opinions only, not on the tools performance but appearance: -It doesn't seem to "fit" my eye area very well, it seems to me the angle is off somehow or another. -However, it does seem to be made of a VERY STURDY plastic. -It is NOT slippery, it has a slight texture to it so it doesn't slip from your fingers while holding it. -It also appears to be sturdy enough to sanitize in a cup of rubbing alcohol. I don't know whether it's safe to use a dishwasher to sanitize it. I do hope someone else has better luck using this tool, as it is just not for me. That is the reason for the two stars, if I would have been able to use it, I might have a better review. I'm sorry Tweezerman, I LOVE your products, but this lash guard is just not for me."

"Great concept, but the tool needs to fit the curve of your eye perfectly to work. I think the plastic is a bit too thick, which makes it difficult to get down to the base of your lashes. It also basically only works for the center lashes of the top eye, as it doesn't flex for the outer and inner lashes. As for using it on the bottom lashes, don't even bother. Overall, I find it takes much too long to use. Will return and go back to just wiping errant mascara away with a q-tip."

"The lash guard and comb was initially a bit awkward and cumbersome to manage, but I watched a YouTube video which helped me refine my approach. It’s definitely easier to use in my dominant hand. Overall, I think the product would be best for those with hooded eyes to prevent smudging. I did not think the comb feature was great for separating lashes and felt it moreso just took a lot of product with it."
"I tried this Lash Guard & Comb recently and I really wasn't that impressed with this product. I think it is because I have really short and blonde lashes, which made it hard to see my lashes up against this product. I love the concept of this product and if you have long dark lashes, I think this product is for you!"
"I think the concept is great but the actual product is awkward. I have very long lashes and tend to get mascara on my eye lids. Placing the guard on my upper eyelid to do my top lashes there isn’t enough room to swipe the wand through my lashes. I was scrapping the guard and my lashes stuck to it. The same thing on the bottom. Maybe if the plastic wasn’t as thick it would work better."
"I enjoyed trying this tool but found it a bit cumbersome to add on to my daily regimen. I think that it might be nice for special occasions but otherwise would not bring with me to travel on a daily basis. Would be great to find a way to incorporate something like this into the mascara wand"
